Cacao seeds sprout very quickly, in fact, it’s not uncommon to open a pod and see some of the seeds sprouted.
They don’t hold their viability very long, though…maybe a few weeks if properly prepared and stored.
The seeds, once planted or just kept slightly moist, will sprout within 2 weeks. If it takes longer than that, they’re probably not viable.
